Point of sale · United Arab Emirates

One till. Sixteen kinds of shop. No internet needed.

A point-of-sale system built for UAE shops that has to work when the internet does not. Sales, stock, staff and the cash drawer all live on the device — a second till and a back office are something you add later, if you ever want them.

16kinds of shop, one app
0internet needed to trade

It does not need the internet

The shop keeps trading when the line goes down

This is not an offline "mode" that syncs later. A single till has no server and no internet connection in its design at all — the database is on the device. Connecting tills together is optional, and its only job is letting two counters and the back office share one picture. One till may never use it.

No connection, no subscription outage, no "system is down" at the counter.
Built for the UAE, not translated into it

VAT the way shops here actually price things

Shelf prices include the 5% VAT, so the number on the label is the number the customer pays. The maths is anchored to that displayed price, which is why three items at AED 100 come to exactly AED 300.00 and never AED 299.99. Your TRN prints on the receipt, and every screen runs in Arabic or English, properly right-to-left.

One app, not sixteen products

It becomes your shop at setup, and stays flexible after

Pick your trade when you set up. The app switches on what that trade needs and hides the rest, so a barber never sees a stock ledger. But the business type is a starting point, never a cage — a fruit shop that also presses juice runs retail and production side by side, from the same till.

What it does

Checkout that handles anything you sell

Services, packaged products, goods sold by the kilo, items whose price you type in, and bundles — on the same ticket. Scan a barcode, tap a tile, or weigh it.

Shifts and the cash drawer

Open with a float, close with a count. The app tells you what should be in the drawer and records the difference. A sale after midnight still belongs to the night it was rung up, not to a new calendar day.

Staff commission that staff trust

Set the rate on the service, not the person. The rate is frozen onto the sale when it happens, so changing a price next month cannot rewrite last month's pay — and a discount the owner gives never comes out of the stylist's commission.

Stock, suppliers and purchasing

Enter the supplier invoice and stock, costs and averages update themselves. Batches carry expiry dates and are used oldest-first. The dashboard warns you before something runs out.

Recipes and production

A juice knows it is made of oranges. Sell one and the oranges leave stock at their real cost. Bake or mill in batches instead, and one run can produce two outputs — flour and bran — with the cost split between them.

Scale barcodes

Print a label on your weighing scale, scan it at the till, and the weight or the price comes straight off the barcode. Two label formats are supported at once, which is what a mini-mart with loose nuts and pre-packed deli actually needs.

Modifiers

Ask the question at the point of sale. Size, milk, extras — required or optional, single or multi-pick, each with its own surcharge, printed on the ticket and the kitchen slip.

Orders, jobs and deposits

Park a job instead of finishing a sale — laundry in the machine, a suit being altered, a phone in for repair. Take a deposit up front, mark it ready, collect the balance when the customer comes back.

Everything here is in the product today

What it does, continued

Kitchen tickets and a kitchen screen

Route each item to the station that makes it. Grill items print at the grill, drinks at the bar. Or run a screen instead: a live board that colours a ticket as it ages, with no paper and no printer to jam.

Split the bill and service charge

Bill three of six guests now and leave the table open for the rest. A service charge, if you levy one, is applied and taxed correctly rather than typed in as a line.

Promotions and multi-buy

Three for ten, buy two get one free, or a straight percentage off a category. It fires at the till by itself, prints on the receipt as a saving, and never double-counts against a discount you also gave by hand.

The appointment book

A day at a time, by staff member. It knows a stylist really can work two clients while a colour develops — so it names the clash and lets you decide, instead of pretending the time is impossible.

Tell the customer it is ready

One tap opens WhatsApp with the message already written, in the customer's language. No gateway account, no per-message fee, nothing extra to sign up for.

Receipts

Thermal printer over network, USB or Bluetooth — or a PDF to share. Bilingual, with your business name, TRN and footer on every one.

Reports the owner reads

Every closed shift with its drawer difference, staff performance by revenue and commission, and a dashboard of the day. Shift reports export as PDF.

A second till, and the back office

Add another counter and they reconcile through the server — and keep selling while the link is down, catching up when it returns. The back office is the same app in a browser, so there is nothing new to learn.

Hair salon

Ships as Bella Salon & Spa صالون وسبا بيلا

Book it, cut it, pay the stylist what she earned.

ServicesTipsCommissionPackages
  • Twelve services across Hair, Nails and Spa the moment you install — Haircut at AED 80, Hair Colour at AED 220, a Bridal Package at AED 650.
  • Commission sits on the service, so a AED 220 colour pays the same whoever does it, and the rate is frozen onto the sale.
  • Tips are recorded against the staff member and reported separately from revenue.
  • The appointment book knows a colour processes while the next client is cut.
MayaOwnerLaylaClient
How it goes

Maya sets Haircut to 30 minutes and Hair Colour to 90. Layla books a colour at 2:00. Noor wants a cut at 2:15 with the same stylist — the app names the clash, Maya knows the colour is developing, and books it anyway.

Day spa

Ships as Serenity Day Spa منتجع الصفاء

Long treatments, big packages, therapists on commission.

ServicesTipsCommissionPackages
  • Ten treatments across Massage, Facials and Body & Hammam — a 90-minute Hot Stone at AED 420, a Moroccan Hammam at AED 350.
  • Packages sell as one line: a Half-Day Retreat at AED 750, a Couples Ritual at AED 620.
  • Three roles out of the box — an Owner, a Manager who runs the floor, and therapists who can only ring up and close their own shift.
  • Put the length on the treatment once and the diary does the arithmetic from then on — no fixed half-hour grid to fight.
HudaOwnerAmalClient
How it goes

Huda sets Hot Stone Massage to 90 minutes. Booked at 4:00, it holds the therapist until 5:30 — nobody types an end time again.

Barbershop

Ships as Nasser Barber Shop صالون ناصر للحلاقة

Walk-ins, fast tickets, per-barber pay.

ServicesTipsCommissionPackages
  • Six services and nothing else in the way — Haircut AED 50, Haircut + Beard AED 75, Hot Towel Shave AED 45.
  • Two taps to a finished sale: pick the barber, pick the cut, take cash.
  • Tips and commission both land on the barber who did the work.
  • No stock screens, no supplier screens — a barbershop never sees them.
NasserOwnerYousefClient
How it goes

Omar rings up a Haircut + Beard, adds a AED 10 tip on the card payment, and the shift report at closing shows his revenue, his tips and his commission on three lines.

Car wash

Ships as Shine Auto Wash شاين لغسيل السيارات

The car is in the bay. The ticket stays open until it drives out.

ServicesOrdersCommission
  • Four washes and four add-ons — Express Exterior AED 30 up to a Full Valet at AED 150, plus Wax & Polish, Engine Bay, Headlight Restoration.
  • Each car becomes an order with the plate on it, so three cars in three bays never get mixed up.
  • Mark it ready when it comes off the line; take payment when the customer arrives.
  • Washers earn commission on what they actually washed.
ImranWasherKhalifaCustomer
How it goes

A Full Valet plus Tyre Dressing is taken as an order at 9:10. At 10:40 it is marked ready, the customer pays AED 170, and the wash goes onto that washer's performance.

Fruit & vegetables

Ships as Al Noor Fruit & Vegetables النور للفواكه والخضروات

Everything sold by the kilo, and the scale does the typing.

RetailPurchasing
  • Five lines priced per kilo — Apple AED 12, Orange AED 8, Tomato AED 5, Potato AED 4, Banana AED 6.
  • Each has a scale number, so the label printed on your weighing scale scans straight into the ticket with its weight.
  • Buy from the market in the morning: enter the supplier invoice and stock and cost update together.
  • Cost is a moving average, so a bad week at the market shows up in the margin honestly.
RashidOwnerHassanStaff
How it goes

Rashid buys 50 kg of oranges at AED 4.00. Next week the market is dearer and he buys 50 kg at AED 6.00. The cost of an orange becomes AED 5.00, and every kilo sold after that is measured against it — no spreadsheet, no guessing.

Butcher

Ships as Al Rayyan Fresh Meat الريان للحوم الطازجة

Weighed cuts, scale labels, stock counted in kilos.

RetailPurchasing
  • Beef Sirloin at AED 78/kg, Lamb Chops AED 62/kg, Chicken Breast AED 28/kg — all scale-numbered.
  • A whole chicken sells by the piece at AED 22 on the same ticket as a weighed cut.
  • Stock moves in kilos, so 0.740 kg leaving the case is 0.740 kg off the count.
  • Supplier invoices from the meat trader post cost and stock in one entry.
MahmoudOwnerAliStaff
How it goes

A customer takes 1.240 kg of Lamb Chops. The scale prints a label, it scans, and the line reads AED 76.88 with the weight shown — no arithmetic at the counter.

Mini-mart

Ships as Al Madina Mini Mart بقالة المدينة

Barcodes, loose goods, and recharge cards — one counter.

RetailPurchasing
  • Packaged goods scan normally: water AED 1.50, cola AED 3.00, chips AED 6.00.
  • Two scale-label formats at the same time — weight labels for loose nuts, price labels for the pre-packed deli cheese.
  • Loose dates are sold at a price you type in, because the price changes with the grade.
  • A mobile recharge card captures the voucher reference onto the sale, so a dispute later has an answer.
AhmedOwnerFatimaStaff
How it goes

One ticket: a scanned bottle of water, 0.350 kg of Mixed Nuts from a weight label, a deli pack from a price label, and a AED 50 recharge card with its reference typed in.

General retail

Ships as Corner Store متجر الركن

Straightforward shelves, real stock control.

RetailPurchasing
  • Household, stationery and personal care out of the box — batteries AED 18, detergent AED 24, shampoo AED 21.
  • Every product tracks stock, so the low-stock warning is real rather than decorative.
  • Suppliers and purchase invoices keep cost of goods honest without a spreadsheet.
  • Import your existing catalogue from a spreadsheet instead of typing it in.
ZainabOwnerTariqStaff
How it goes

Zainab exports the catalogue, edits prices in Excel, and imports it back — the whole shelf repriced in one go.

Juice bar

Ships as Sunrise Juice Bar عصير الشروق

Sell a juice, and the oranges leave stock by themselves.

RetailProductionPurchasing
  • Three juices priced to sell — Fresh Orange AED 15, Mango Smoothie AED 17, Carrot-Orange Detox AED 18.
  • Each one has a recipe, with a wastage allowance, because the peel and the spill are real.
  • The fruit itself is marked not-for-sale, so nobody rings up a kilo of raw mango by mistake.
  • Buy fruit on a supplier invoice; the cost flows through to every cup made from it.
KhalidOwnerPriyaStaff
How it goes

Fresh Orange Juice is 0.8 kg of oranges plus 5% wastage. Sell one at AED 15 and 0.84 kg leaves stock — AED 3.36 of fruit at the AED 4.00 average. The margin per cup is a fact, not a guess.

Coffee shop

Ships as Qahwa House بيت القهوة

Large, oat, extra shot — asked and priced at the tap.

RetailProductionPurchasing
  • Seven drinks — Espresso AED 12, Latte AED 18, Flat White AED 19, Iced Latte AED 21.
  • Three modifier groups ask the right questions: Size (Large +AED 4), Milk (Oat +AED 3), Extras (extra shot +AED 4, up to two).
  • Every drink routes to the Bar station, printed or on screen.
  • Milk, beans and syrup are stock. A latte deducts what it used.
YaraOwnerDanielCustomer
How it goes

A large oat latte with an extra shot rings up at AED 29 and prints at the bar with the milk choice on the slip. Behind it, 220 ml of milk and 18 g of beans leave stock.

Bakery

Ships as Al Furn Bakery مخبز الفرن

Bake overnight in batches. Take cake orders with a deposit.

RetailProductionPurchasingOrders
  • Bread and pastry produced in batches — a Sourdough Loaf at AED 18, Butter Croissant AED 9, Cinnamon Roll AED 11.
  • A production run turns flour, butter and sugar into finished stock at a costed rate.
  • A custom cake at AED 250 is taken as an order with a deposit and collected later.
  • Baking inputs are not sellable, so flour never appears on a customer ticket.
SamirOwnerAminaCustomer
How it goes

Samir runs a batch of 60 croissants overnight. 5.088 kg of flour and 2.544 kg of butter leave stock — recipe plus 6% wastage — and 60 croissants arrive with a real unit cost the counter sells from all day.

Flour mill

Ships as Al Tahoun Flour Mill مطحنة الطحون

Wheat in. Flour and bran out. The cost splits properly.

RetailProductionPurchasing
  • Wheat Grain in at AED 2.40/kg, White Flour out at AED 4.50/kg, Bran at AED 1.80/kg.
  • One run produces two saleable outputs, and you set how the wheat's cost divides between them rather than dumping all of it on the flour.
  • Grain is bought on supplier invoices; stock is counted in kilos throughout.
  • Bakeries and restaurants are set up as clients, so repeat buyers are on file.
IbrahimOwnerWaleedStaff
How it goes

Milling 100 kg of flour takes 137.7 kg of wheat — 1.35 per kilo plus 2% wastage — and yields 35 kg of bran alongside it. Both arrive in stock carrying their share of the grain cost, split 70/30.

Restaurant

Ships as Zeitoun Restaurant مطعم زيتون

Order at the table, fire to the kitchen, split the bill.

RetailOrdersPurchasingTips

RitaServerNadiaOwnerHaniManager

  • Every intake becomes an order with the customer's name, number and a promised date the board flags when it passes.

  • When it is ready, one tap opens WhatsApp with the message already written.
ImranOwnerNoorCustomer
